Free community program on robotic surgery tomorrow

Members of the public may test their skills on a mobile robotic surgical unit at an upcoming community event. In addition, health experts will be on hand to show how the surgical robot operates and talk about the benefits of minimally invasive surgery. In addition, there will be a free community program on robotic surgery hosted by Drs. Jon Rippentrop, Physicians’ Clinic of Iowa, P.C., Department of Urology and St. Luke’s Minimally Invasive Surgery medical director and Jerry Rozeboom, OB-GYN Associates. Attendees will also hear from St. Luke’s robotic team and a patient who had robotic surgery.
