Federal officials said today that small business owners should be prepared to operate with fewer employees this fall as H1N1 spreads across the country. A guidebook released by the Department of Homeland Security recommends small businesses identify their essential operations and have plans for operating with reduced staffing.
St. Luke’s Work Well Solutions is offering a free seminar to educate and prepare local businesses about H1N1. Troy Overholt, RN, MBA, COHN-S, St. Luke’s Work Well Solutions director will present the information.
In addition resources for pandemic preparedness will be provided as well as information on:
· Vaccination programs
· Seasonal flu programs as they relate to H1N1
· Contingency planning starting points
· Planning considerations
