St. Luke's Child Protection Center receives gift

Berthel Fisher & Company, a financial services firm based in Cedar Rapids, presented St. Luke's Child Protection Center with $10,000 in flood recovery funds.
Tom Berthel, President & CEO of Berthel Fisher & Company, made the presentation.
St. Luke's CPC received a $10,000 check from the Berthel Fisher 2008 Flood Relief Non-Endowed Donor-Advised Fund held at the Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation.
The Child Protection Center serves abused children across not only Linn, but 50 of Iowa’s counties. During the wake of the flood the child protection center has seen a marked increase in abuse in the Linn county area.
