St. Luke’s Witwer Children’s Therapy is hosting a conference for parents and family members, educators, therapists, nurses and anyone else wanting to learn more about sensory processing disorders and social skills impairments that are common characteristics of individuals on the autism spectrum. Two nationally recognized experts will present the most current evidence-based practice on these topics for families and professionals.
Autism 2010 Sensory Processing Disorders & Social Skills Development
Date: Thursday, Sept. 9 and Friday, Sept. 10
Time: 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. and 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Location: Cedar Rapids Marriott
Cost: Parents and family member - $30 per day. Professionals - $150 per day. This fee covers the cost of a light breakfast, refreshments and lunch. Processional registrants will also receive a Certificate of Attendance that may be used to register credit with the appropriate licensing boards and associations.
