Smart Sitter

This class is designed as an educational program to learn to baby sit. This class is for boys and girls 10 years of age or older. Class members will learn:

  • Responsibilities of a babysitter
  • Basic childcare 
  • Childhood development
  • Common accidents and emergencies
  • Guidelines for safe play
  • Practice CPR compression and choking techniques for infants and children on mannequins

This class will meet the following days in 2012:

  • June 6
  • July 17
  • August 7
  • December 28

Registration is from 8:30-8:45 a.m.
Class meets from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.

  • Please bring:
  • Sack lunch and drink. Refreshments provided at break
  • 14 - 15 inch doll or teddy bear for practicing baby care
  • Optional: $7 for a Smart Sitter cloth bag
  • Optional: $3 for a CPR Booklet
