Sensei™ Robotic System

This state-of-the-art system gives doctors extremely accurate control of catheters during procedures to diagnose and treat arrhythmias, which are abnormal heart rhythms. It uses robotics technology to improve doctors' visuals and extend their reach inside your heart.

Arrhythmia treatment

The doctor uses a catheter to record electrical signals to create a "road map" of the heart. Once the map is complete, another catheter is used to destroy the cells that are causing the heart to beat irregularly. This procedure is called catheter ablation and is performed in St. Luke's Electrophysiology (EP) lab.
