Hospital Services
There are occasions when our best recommendation and course of action for a person’s mental health is to admit them to the hospital for more focused, intensive treatment. For those situations, St. Luke's has three units dedicated to mental health treatment - for children and adolescents, adults and older adult patients.
Child/Adolescent Unit
This secure center provides treatment for children (ages 6-12) and adolescents (ages 13-18). Both programs are family-centered and designed to help children and adolescents who have serious behavioral problems, emotional disorders or adjustment difficulties. Our focus is to empower families, manage behavior and teach new skills.
Adult Unit
This secure unit provides a highly structured and protective environment for adult patients suffering from acute emotional crisis and who require frequent monitoring and supportive attention.
Older Adult Unit
This secure center creates a highly structured, protective environment for older adults who are experiencing either acute episodes of mental illness or dementia.
