
In addition to our neonatal doctors and nurse practitioners, our team includes NICU nurses, respiratory therapists, occupational and physical therapists, the developmental care specialist, social workers, the lactation consultant, dietitians, pharmacists and support staff.
Dennis Rosenblum, MDNeonatologist, Medical Director of St. Luke's NICU
Dr. Rosenblum received his B.A. from Boston University in 1982 and his Doctor of Medicine degree from Boston University in 1986. He completed residency training at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in 1989 and fellowship training in newborn medicine in 1992 from the New England Medical Center. He was a neonatology attending at Duke University for three years before returning to Iowa in 1996.
Dr. Rosenblum is board certified with the American Board of Pediatrics and the subboard of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and Vice Chair of the Iowa State Perinatal Guidelines Advisory Committee. He has served as a board member for the March of Dimes Iowa Chapter and as a trustee and treasurer for the Iowa Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Andrew Nordine, MD, MSNeonatologist, Director of St. Luke's NICU Quality Improvement
Dr. Nordine earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Iowa in 2001. He completed residency training in pediatrics at the University of Iowa in 2004 and fellowship training in neonatal-perinatal medicine at the University of Minnesota in 2007. He has American Board of Pediatrics certifications in general pediatrics and neonatal-perinatal medicine. Dr. Nordine serves as the St. Luke's NICU Director of Quality Improvement and chairs the NICU Evidence-based Practice Committee.
Dr. Nordine earned a Master of Science degree in health informatics from the University of Minnesota under a National Library of Medicine training grant. He is a member of several information technology committees at St. Luke's and the Iowa Health System. Dr. Nordine is a Fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the Health Information Management Systems Society, the American Medical Informatics Association, and the American Academy for the Advancement of Science.
Ben Stevens, MDNeonatologist
Dr. Stevens received his B.A. from Brigham Young University in 1992 and his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Utah Medical School in 1997. He completed residency training in pediatrics at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in 2000 and also fellowship training in neonatal-perinatal medicine in 2010. Dr. Stevens is a Fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Stevens is working towards his Master's of Public Health at the University of Iowa.
Pankaj Nagaraj, MDNeonatologist
Dr. Nagaraj received his medical training from Kempegowda Institute of Medical Science Hospital and Research Center Bangalore University, Bangalore, India and completed his residency from the University of Texas Medical Branch, Pediatric Residency Program in Austin, Texas. He also completed a fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC.
In addition to providing coverage at St. Luke’s NICU, Dr. Nagaraj also serves as the NICU medical director at Allen Hospital in Waterloo, Iowa.
Scott Nau, MDPediatrician, Medical Director of St. Luke's Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
Dr. Nau received his B.S. from the University of Iowa in 1975 and his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine in 1978. He completed pediatric residency training in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Iowa in 1981.
Dr. Nau is a fellow with the American Academy of Pediatrics. He has been in pediatrics private practice since 1981 and is currently with St. Luke's Physicians and Clinics Cedar Rapids Pediatrics office.
Amy Wilson, MSN, ARNP, CPNP, NNP-BCNeonatal Nurse Practitioner
Amy received both her Bachelor's and Master's degree in Nursing from the University of Iowa. She completed her post-Master's degree certificate at Rush University.
Her areas of interest include Neonatal Pain and High-Risk Infant Follow-up.

Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
Krista received her Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Clarke College and her Master's degree from Creighton University. She has worked in Level III Newborn Intensive Care Units in Atlanta and Omaha.
Krista is a member of the National Association of Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, the Iowa Association of Neonatal Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
Shannon Miller, ARNPNeonatal Nurse Practitioner
Shannon received her Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University and her Master's degree in Nursing from the University of Iowa. She also completed her post-Master's degree certificate at the University of Missouri in Kansas City.
Shannon is a Neonatal Resuscitation Instructor and assists with the Neonatal Transport program.
