Whether you're training for a triathlon or play softball on a recreational league, our goal is to help you avoid injuries, treat injuries and meet your fitness goals. Call us if you'd like a treatment and fitness program designed specifically for you.
Our certified athletic trainers work with athletes from local school districts, youth athletic programs and semi-professional sports organizations to help ensure they develop good strengthening and training habits to prevent injury, and if injuries occur, that they deal with them wisely.
We teach proper strength building, flexibility, conditioning and endurance and training techniques. All this is geared toward helping athletes at every level to minimize their risk of injury. Actively educating athletes, parents and sports teams is a vital part of Sports Medicine.
Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus Aereus (MRSA) is an infection caused by a strain of staph bacteria. It is considered dangerous because it can be resistant to antibiotics (including penicillin), making it difficult to treat. It often begins as a painful skin boil, and is highly contagious. It has become more prevalent in contact sports such as wrestling, because of the skin-to-skin contact.
